This project presented complex challenges that were caused by existing dryrot and persistent water intrusion issues. The leaky roof was removed and all of the eaves and fascia trim were rebuilt to follow the curved profiles of the building below it. Using Azek brand PVC trimboards and moldings to create these durable curved trim profiles at minimal cost, we were able bring a level of sophistication and cohesion to the street facing facades of this corner lot home. The windows were replaced and reflashed and much of the cedar shake siding was replaced before the entire exterior was repainted. The roofing was replaced with a white IB 50 mil membrane roofing system for increased energy efficiency.
